Administrative Function of PhpMyAdmin

Once you enter local Host, Click on database option to locate the list of databases operated through cPanel user.


One can easily operate and manage, by clicking on selected database.

If you can access the database statistics, you can easily find out used table collation, the number of table, rows, volume of data and indexes, and overall size.

It is suggested, not to add large amount of database on your account, as it may increase load on server.


On the same page you can find the option “status” click it and see Runtime Information Link. you can get all the information right from last restart related to MY SQL server.

Click on the option “Variables” located on My SQL System variable links.

Just by clicking the option Status, one can visit all the process running under cPanel user.



Charset includes character set and collation link. Here you can find out all the details of charset and collation maintained by My SQL server.

In the export segment, one can easily export database table of different formats (like- CSV, PDF, SQL, MS Word, MS Excel, XML and many more…) You can either pick all data’s or can select few of them.


One can add comments on header of exported content and export database structure, data or both of them. You can easily resolve the queries on the screen or can export database files and compress it.


In the Import column, one can easily import database table from files located on local computer.


Browse the file from main menu. If selected file will be of large volume My SQL server time out can be reached which may interrupt import action. Continue with the process of data importing by identifying the number of queries to be skipped at the time of beginning.
