How to create My SQL Database and User?

You need not require to worry about creating My SQL database with cPanel as it is already included in Hosting plan of Inway Hosting. Firstly log in to cPanel for creating My SQL database on your hosting account. You can do this either by clicking on cPanel button located in customer area –>> my account segment or by pasting direct link in the web browser.

After logging into cPanel, you can access My SQL management screen and click on the corresponding my SQL database option shown below:
For creating a new database, enter your desired name in the New Database section and click on Create database button mentioned below:
After that you will receive a confirmation massage, which shows that your database has been created successfully.
Click on “Go back” button to revisit the Database management screen. My SQL database created will use your username as prefix – username_databasename and this name will be applicable for using applications also.

You can create a new user which can connect to newly developed database. For creating a new user, fill your username and password in the space provided as mentioned below in the given image:
Click on “save” button to save your My SQL username.
Please note that to all the databases and usernames created by you, cPanel username will be added as a prefix to them.

After creating Database and Username, you can add some rights to the database for the User. Choose them from the respective Drop down menu under section of Add User to Database and click on Submit button.
